Mission Statement:
At GreenFly Meditations, my mission is to foster mindfulness in workplaces and small groups of friends, enhancing wellness and connection through shared meditative practices. Additionally, I provide compassionate support and guidance for parents and families navigating the profound grief of losing a child through the practice of mindfulness meditation.

My vision is to foster a culture of mindfulness in workplaces and small groups of friends, including those who identify as neurodivergent, enhancing wellness, connection, and resilience through shared meditative practices. Additionally, I am deeply committed to supporting those navigating the profound grief of losing a child by providing tailored meditation resources that offer solace, understanding, and moments of peace. Our community stands as a beacon of empathy, resilience, and healing, honoring the precious lives of lost children and guiding grieving families on their journey toward transformation. With mindfulness as my guiding principle, I strive to create inclusive spaces where every individual feels valued, understood, and empowered.
Following a series of personal tragedies, mindfulness became an integral part of my life. In 2018, I lost a close friend to suicide amidst my wife's difficult pregnancy with twins who were born prematurely. One of the twins, Emerson Montgomery, passed away shortly after birth, while Frank Tiberius fought for survival for nearly six months. Coping with such trauma led me to seek help from a social worker who introduced me to mindfulness meditation. Since then, I've embraced this practice, finding peace and joy. In 2024, I completed the Dharma Moon and Tibet House 100 hour mindfulness meditation teacher training. I have also expanded my knowledge completing the neurodiversity-informed mindfulness training offered by the Canadian Association of Mental Health (CAMH) to help make mindfulness more accessible. Additionally, I've volunteered with Pregnancy And Infant Loss (PAIL), co-creating support groups and offering individual support and participating on panels at medical conferences.
